Swim
Location: Playa San José.
Participants will start with a 1.5 km swim along the calm waters of Encarnación's stunning San José Beach.
Bike
Athletes will then transition to the 40 km bike segment along the scenic Costanera road. The route is relatively flat with a few rolling hills, offering a challenge for competitors.
Run
The race finishes with a 10 km run back along the picturesque waterfront, passing key landmarks in the city, and culminating at the Sambódromo.

FAQ'S
The race consists of a 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike ride, and a 10 km run.
Athletes must bring a government-issued ID, proof of registration, and any necessary triathlon gear for the race.
Athletes are required to check their bikes into the transition area on Saturday, April 12 between 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Late check-ins will not be accepted.
Swim: Each wave will have 1:00 to complete the swim. Athletes who take longer than 1:01 to finish the swim will receive a DNF. Additionally, any athlete starting in the final wave who does not meet the 1:10 cut-off will not be allowed to continue in the race and will receive a DNF.
Bike: 3 hours and 30 minutes from the start of the last wave.
Run: 5 hours and 30 minutes from the start of the last wave.
Total Time: The race will officially end 5 hours and 30 minutes after the start of the last wave. Each athlete will have 5 hours and 30 minutes to complete the race. Athletes who exceed 5 hours and 30 minutes will receive a DNF and will not be eligible for age group awards. Additionally, athletes from earlier waves who finish before the final course time limit but exceed 5 hours and 30 minutes will also receive a DNF and will not be eligible for awards or slots.
Registration can be deferred or transferred up to 30 days before the race day, subject to a transfer fee.
Yes, spectators are welcome! There will be designated viewing areas along the swim, bike, and run courses, including Playa San José and Costanera.
